Photography

In my rather limited amount of free time, I've been trying to freelance as a photographer. Flickr has been a great resource for this, now that they have joined with Getty Images. Mostly my photos have been used for travelwebsites (pictures of Rum Jungle in Las Vegas and Barton G in South Beach) and food columns -- including this random non english site. The majority of my pictures do entail restaurants, hotels, airplane interiors, etc. Or museums. Now Public uses alot alot of my photos as well. (and more can be seen here.

And more obscurely, some are used by random blogs and websites. Not to neglect mentioning this bizarre blog about fires in NYC.

Also, I recently did an Audrey Hepburn photo shoot for The Transport Group of actress Cheryl Stern in the role of Claire Stark for our upcoming production of Being Audrey.

Weekend Getaways

I spent last weekend in San Francisco and I'm spending this weekend in Louisville, Kentucky. It's kind of nice to get out of Manhattan on weekends from time to time.

I *did* buy a wedding dress when I was in SF. No, I'm not going to post pictures and no I won't give you details. All I will say is that my dress is Monique Lhuillier, it's from the 2009 collection, so it won't even be seen in fashion shows or online until next year, *but* parts of the dress (ie. the skirt and the bodice) were featured prominently in a certain film I adore that came out semi recently :)
